After years of experience at top companies (Yahoo and eBay), then building and selling two successful businesses (to companies like Zynga), Jon and Kelly set out to do it for a third time. Why? Serial entrepreneurship is a real thing, but they also realized they could tackle a huge problem: complicated, unusable CRMs. In turn, ProsperWorks was built to offer businesses of any size a CRM teams actually want to use.

Meet the leadership team.
CEO and Co-founder
Serial entrepreneur by trade, Jon Lee knows a thing or two about running a business. Jon started in investment banking at Merrill Lynch, moved to run a large operations team at Yahoo, and later founded Bazaar Advertising Solutions and DNA Games, acquired by Epic Media Group and Zynga, respectively. He then started ProsperWorks to give every company tools they will actually use to help them grow.
Jon holds a BS in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from UC Berkeley and currently resides in Hillsborough, CA with his wife and two daughters. He’s a big fan of aquariums and rounding up the ProsperWorks team for celebration shots.
CTO and Co-founder
As CTO and co-founder of ProsperWorks, Kelly Cheng guides infrastructure and feature development. Kelly started his career in 2002 after receiving his EECS degree from UC Berkeley. He then joined eBay where he made contributions on the search front-end team and internal tools team for 6 years. Kelly also worked at 23andMe as a full-stack developer before joining Jon at DNA Games as their first server engineer.
Kelly lives in the South Bay with his wife and two kids. He is an avid knitter and prefers cooked vegetables over raw.
Director of People Operations
Leading the ProsperWorks People team, Brooke Greco is definitely a people person. She is responsible for the employee experience, including recruiting, human resources, and culture development. Previously, she held leadership roles at technology start-ups Sidecar and DoubleDutch, and has over 10 years of experience counseling managers and leaders on people and process business solutions.
Brooke has an undergraduate degree in Economics from UC Berkeley and a Master of Business Administration from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. She lives in San Francisco, and her hobbies include caring for chickens, rescuing plants, and composting.
Shaun brings more than 12 years of global business leadership and entrepreneurial experience to his role as CRO of ProsperWorks. Having earned his degree from Stanford University, he has obtained various leadership positions and founded two highly-successful companies with Jon Lee (Bazaar Advertising Solutions - acquired by Epic Media Group, DNA Games - acquired by Zynga). Most recently, he ran online revenue at DocuSign, the #1 SaaS eSignature platform in the world.
Originally from San Diego, Shaun now resides in Burlingame, CA with his wife and son. He is ProsperWorks’ resident tequila and food truck expert.
VP of Product
As VP of Product at ProsperWorks, Steve has lead product and design since 2013, promoting a culture of innovation and execution. Prior to ProsperWorks, Steve was one of the first product designers at Base CRM, where he helped lead product design across Web, Android and IOS teams. Following his departure from Base, Steve joined Domo as a Senior Interaction Designer leading design for stealth projects and designing the primary business intelligence platform.
Steve graduated with a BS in Advertising from Southern Utah University in 2006. Outside of work, Steve loves to drive around the west coast in his RV with his wife and 4 kids.
VP of Finance
Stefan serves as VP of Finance, leading financial reporting, administrative and strategic planning decisions for the company. He has over 15 years of financial, investing and operating experience focused primarily on technology and growth companies. Prior to joining ProsperWorks, Stefan spent four years at Harvest Power, leading their FP&A and strategic finance capabilities. Stefan also helped advise and raise capital for technology companies at Morgan Stanley.
Stefan has an MBA from UPenn's Wharton School and an Economics BA from UC Berkeley. He loves the great outdoors and is the proud owner of exclusively rose gold Apple devices.
VP of Sales
As ProsperWorks' VP of Sales, Bret Knobelauch is responsible for sales, operations, growth initiatives, and investments in strategic alliances across the globe. He is a seasoned SaaS sales leader with over 10 years experience building and leading high-performing teams that help customers achieve their business goals. Previously, he successfully scaled sales through acquisition at Demandforce, acquired by Intuit.
Bret is a San Francisco native, attending college and currently residing in the same city. As a former college athlete, it's not uncommon to find him on the basketball court, yelling 'BEAST MODE' as he shoots hoops.
Head of Marketing
Kira runs marketing at ProsperWorks and is responsible for telling the ProsperWorks story, while driving demand and revenue growth for the business. Kira is a start-up junkie who has spent 10 years in marketing, leading teams at B2B SaaS companies in the Bay Area including Demandforce (acquired by Intuit), Dudamobile and Aviso.
Kira is a Palo Alto native who graduated from St. Olaf College and now lives in Redwood City. Around the office, you can identify her by the bike grease stains on her clothes or hoarding Sour Patch watermelons from the snack area.
VP Customer Success
Committed to delivering excellence in customer experience throughout his 20-year career, Justin Oberbauer heads up Customer Success at ProsperWorks. Justin was previously the Head of Client Success at with Symphony Commerce, where he lead all post-sales customer engagement for high-growth ecommerce brands. Before that, he spent 8 years at Nimblefish Technologies, scaling the high-touch client service team.
Justin received his MBA in finance and entrepreneurship from USF and enjoys sailing and guitar. He currently resides in Tiburon, CA with his wife and kids.
VP of Engineering
Rahul leads Engineering at ProsperWorks. He brings 20 years of experience building B2B enterprise applications and platforms. He has built 4 products from concept to revenue at Oracle, BeyondCore (co-founder and CTO, acquired by Salesforce), Kwanzoo (co-founder and CTO), and most recently, Aviso (VP Engineering).
Rahul has a graduate degree in Computer Science from Stanford, and lives in Redwood Shores with his family. He is currently in 100m sprint training and loves zen meditation and yoga.
